| Subspeciality Reads |
|
A trend towards subspecialty training poses a supply and demand challenge with rural hospitals and facilities. Recent surveys indicate that majority of radiologists are generalists while there are fewer sub-specialists.
Technology paves the way for radiologists to read images from remote locations, 24/7. Night call outsourcing and use of teleradiology is being expanded to redistribute workloads. Initially, Nighthawk services provided second and third shift, weekend, and vacation coverage only. But a new trend toward reading weekday shifts is emerging - especially in rural areas where PACS and teleradiology are letting radiologists in metro areas interpret studies from less populated region We at Telerad India provide in-depth subspecialty reads. Our skilled and experienced team of radiologists deliver accurate prompt reads in neuroimaging including functional MRI, 3D tensor imaging, spectroscopy which a general radiologist may sometimes find difficult to interpret. Also associated with our team is a dedicated cardiac radiologist with specialized coronary software packages that provide accurate reports of coronary CT angiograms and CT body angiography studies at very attractive rates and turnaround times.
We also have a group of general radiologist for interpretation of X-rays, ultrasound , Dopplers, barium studies and urograms.. |
